Small fixes

Small update.
Fixed the front door springs to the door poop out function, it helps to open the doors when I activate the door opening with the remote control.

Also installed the ventilation pipes to the nozzles for the windshield.

To do list

I hope I should have the time to finish everything before the summer.
I’m not sure if I forgot something, but with the list below, it’s fully workable at least.

* Buy and install shift cables and controls.
* Buy and install accelerator pedal and cable.
* Buy and install kickdown cable for the gearbox.
* Buy and installing a handbrake lever.

* Install the air hoses for the ventilation.

* Install all the wheels.
* Install front and rear license plates.

* Install the outer rearview mirrors.
* Build and install panels on the upper part of the front doors.
* Install the narrow small panel that is missing above the front doors towards the roof.
* Touch-up repair a couple of paint damage.
* Build a new bellypan, the plate for the cooling channel from the
grill and back to the radiator.
* Install new sealing strips for the side window on the front doors
* Install the small opening windows on the front doors.
* Install the door strip on the left front door.

Some updates

Not much visible has happened in the last few days.

I have installed the headlights and they are working.

Then I had a little problem with the windshield wipers.
They stopped working so I have done some troubleshooting and it turned out to be a ground fault which has now been fixed. I have also connected all the control wires for the ventilation.

I have new glasses for the parking lights/turn signals in the front but am missing the reflector that is behind the glasses on both sides. That will be a later problem.

I have cleaned up inside and outside the car after all the wiring.
I have not yet decided what I will start with next.

I have not fixed the fuel tank yet, I told the company that was going to help me fix the leak that there was no rush to get it fixed so it will come when it comes. So starting the engine will be a later project.

I am thinking of starting to fix the front and rear axle. Right now it is so lowered that it is at the bottom. Will re-install 4 leaves for the front suspension that were removed. The rear is incorrectly installed so I will start installing everything correctly and we will see what height the car gets.

Will also try to get the brakes working as well.

Will post some new pictures anyway, always something.

Latest additions to the family. Dodge A100 1965

It’s been a while since I’ve done any projects.
I thought this time it might be fun that the whole family could benefit from it 🙂

After much searching, I fell completely in love with this beauty.
1965 Dodge A100.

The car has had a couple of different owners over the years, one owner did all the rust repair. The next owner did the painting, not much happened with the third one and now it sits at home in our garage.

When I got the car home there was no interior, no windows, no working electrical system.
No radiator. So the struggle lately has been to find and acquire different parts that are
needed to complete this beauty.

I’ll try to update the posts with different things that have been done as I go along, so you can see the progress as it happens.

The goal is to have it inspected and as close to completion as possible by the summer of 2026. But those of you who know me know how I am. Everything I do always goes off track, so we’ll see if the timeline holds.
